El programa de documentales de La 2 presenta, cada viernes, a las 21.00 horas, un nuevo personaje de la cultura española, el 3 de octubre D. Miguel de Unamuno fué el protagonista.

Miguel de Unamuno fue militante y concejal electo del Partido Socialista en Salamanca y después denostado por estos mismos; fue desterrado de España por Primo de Rivera y luego regresó aclamado como un héroe nacional; apoyó al principio el levantamiento del general Franco y después lo desenmascaró con aquel famoso “Venceréis pero no convenceréis” ante Millán Astray; en tiempos de Sabino Arana le consideraban los nacionalistas un traidor (igual que la mayoría de los abertzales en la actualidad -tiraron en Bilbao su busto a la Ría hace no demasiado tiempo) mientras que los “españolistas“ le han mirado siempre con no poco recelo...

Olvidado y admirado

¿Quién fue de verdad este complejo y atormentado pensador y escritor de posiciones políticas tan cambiantes que se sintió siempre muy vasco a la vez que muy español, con ese amor/odio por Europa, tan apasionado en sus compromisos sociales y políticos como reincidente en sus errores?


¿Quien fue este Unamuno que hoy es casi un desconocido para la mayoría de españoles pero admirado como la figura de las letras españolas más importante después Cervantes por la mayoría de los intelectuales europeos?

Sobretodo, un intelectual independiente, crítico con los poderes y comprometido con su sociedad; y un hombre atormentado y apasionado.

Estoy buscando la parte en la que José Luis Sampedro habla de como empezó a leer a Miguel de Unamuno. En este momento no encuentro en que minuto empieza a hablar sobre él. Tengo visionado hasta el min. 35 m. 59 s. // 1 h. 15 m. 14 s. Otro día intentaré continuar visualizando el vídeo. El  12/11/2.014  vuelvo a escuchar este vídeo y el momento en el que empieza a hablar sobre Unamuno es el  36 m. 18 s. // 1 h. 15 m. 14 s. También habla de otros escritores y pensadores famosos como Leon Tolstoy, Benito Pérez Galdós, Juan Ramón Jiménez, Gerardo Diego y Antonio Machado entre otros. En el min. 38 m. 18 s. es cuando empieza a mencionar a Miguel Unamuno.

En los primeros momentos de consolidación del reino astur, la capital se traslada de Cangas de Onís a Oviedo y, con ella, se asienta la monarquía asturiana. Los principales monumentos de Oviedo y del Reino de Asturias comenzaron a construirse a principios del siglo VIII y durante todo el siglo IX. En este proceso se observan tres etapas fundamentales, que coinciden con el reinado del rey Alfonso II el Casto (792-842); con el reinado del rey Ramiro I (842-850); y con el reinado del rey Alfonso III el Magno (866-910). Es una arquitectura que se caracteriza por el uso del muro de sillarejo, con sillares de tamaño irregular y algunas imperfecciones, a diferencia de los muy trabajados del arte visigodo. El arco utilizado es de medio punto y las bóvedas de cañón están sostenidas por arcos fajones enlazados con contrafuertes en el exterior. Las plantas suelen ser de tres naves con pórtico a los pies. Sobre el ábside central acostumbra a localizarse la "cámara del tesoro" con acceso exterior.
