Jorge Semprún, escritor español ha recibido el Premio Annetje Fels-Kupferschmidt por su labor de difusión sobre la existencia de los campos de concentración nazis durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Semprún, miembro de la resistencia, en 1943 fue enviado al campo de concentración de Buchenwald. Su liberación se produjo en 1945 e inmediatamente pasó a realizar una intensa actividad clandestina en España, como miembro del Partido Comunista. Entre 1988 y 1991 fue Ministro de Cultura en España.
